| Requirements | Role of the Chairperson: Chairpersons are required to facilitate team/panel discussions in accordance with the evaluation process to achieve consensus for the rating assigned to each merit criterion in each qualified application and prepare the technical evaluation report for each assigned application for submission and approval by the FAA. It is estimated that each application review will require up to 2-3 labor hours to complete. Panels will typically complete 15 application assignments (each application is 15-20 pages) over the course of approximately 3 weeks and in accordance with FAA's application review schedule. Role of the Reviewer: Reviewers are required to provide an independent, unbiased assessment of applications in accordance with the FAA's evaluation guidelines/established review criteria. It is estimated that each application review will require up to 2-3 labor hours to complete and reviewers will typically complete 15 application assignments (each application is 15-20 pages) over the course of approximately 3 weeks. Reviewers shall complete review assignments in accordance with FAA's application review schedule. Role of the Alternate Reviewer: As an Alternate Reviewer, you will be on standby to serve in place of a Reviewer throughout the application review cycle. Please note it is mandatory that you complete the necessary documentation for F2 and training. |
| Description | On behalf of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), F2 Solutions (F2) is seeking qualified candidates to review FY2023 Aviation Workforce Development Program applications. The FAA would like to invite you to register for potential participation in the 2023 application cycle. The FAA requires candidates possess relevant knowledge of FAA's NextGen grant programs, aviation and/or maintenance and agree to the requirements for the application review's integrity, time commitment, and workload (e.g., reading, writing, and discussions). Commit and contribute a fair amount of time and effort throughout the entire application review session, adhere to the review schedule, and participate in panel discussions. Qualitative skills are also required, such as the ability to analyze information and succinctly communicate findings in writing. Previous experience reviewing FAA Program applications is preferred. |
