Description	The Helicopter Pilot provides rotorcraft pilot services primarily at one of three bases of operation - Eau Claire, WI; Rochester and Mankato, MN with expectation of covering pilot shifts at non-primary base of operation when necessary. Is expected to follow the Mayo Clinic Culture of Safety by modeling five safety behaviors: pay attention to detail; communicate clearly; have a questioning and receptive attitude; hand-off effectively; support each other. The ultimate goal is to place the needs of our patients first by ensuring aviation safety. Will regularly utilize the instrument flight rule (IFR) infrastructure and night vision imaging systems (NVIS) as a standard of flight practice. Will actively participate in management of a Safety Management System (SMS) as well as participate in annual simulation training. Will perform additional tasks as necessary to support the Mayo Clinic air carrier certificate for part 135 operations. The Helicopter Pilot's weight must not exceed 250 pounds/114 kilograms. Class 1 medical exams must be coordinated through the Mayo Clinic Division of Preventive, Occupational and Aerospace Medicine.
