Requirements	-10+ years relevant experience, including in a safety-focused position dealing with highly complex technical systems -Experience in a regulated industry, in the application of QMS and Risk Management in product development, and the ability to participate directly in reviewing and contributing to risk analysis approach -Ability to design objective processes and procedures, since this person will take the lead in Kitty Hawk's internal and external safety policies, practices and procedures -Experience balancing business needs with protecting organizational safety standards -Experience working cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams -Experience building safety programs, including SMS -Experience monitoring safety processes and measuring performance trends
Description	The Head of Safety role will report directly to the CEO and will have responsibility for designing and strengthening safety processes, strengthening independent safety reporting and review processes, periodically auditing safety processes for continuous improvement, and fostering a world class safety culture within Kitty Hawk.
